Horny Kid - A Film Essay by Josh Whiteman

Over at We Own This Town, I premiered this new short film by director Josh Whiteman. On the surface, it's a fun compilation of anecdotes about Whiteman's childhood and his suave obsessions with women, as told by his mother. It's inherently entertaining to watch a kid be fascinated with Victoria's Secret models or the female Power Ranger. Whiteman's filmmaking prowess manages to keep things light and fun throughout - weaving in tons of actual footage from his youth - but he also hits on some rather poignant reflections about his adult life as a bachelor.

It's just 7-minutes long and it's 100% worth a watch. Our attention spans have dropped to Tik Tok length clips but take some time to watch "Horny Kid," it's time well spent.
