After twelve episodes, we've reached the end of Season One of
Hott Minute. The last episode,
Season One Funale, is now streaming in all the places and does a great job of continuing to be hilarious but also do a bit of self reflection on what it means to be
hott. On the whole, the conceit of the show is two hilarious hosts riffing on things they find appealing but there's an undercurrent of empowerment and seeing beyond physical hotness in all of their "crushes." It may seem like a stretch to hear the show described that way but give the Funale a listen and you'll see what I mean.
The finale episode also features a theme song by
Poly that ups the ante in terms of production. All the themes from this season have been wonderful but this is a full-on Broadway extravaganza. Give it a whirl.
The show is taking a break but there won't be much downtime between seasons - just a slight breather for the hosts and some time to focus on new ideas for Season Two. Thanks for listening so far, lots more to come.
