First and foremost let me remark that I am a big fan of the band How I Became the Bomb, both personally and what they do musically. I've helped work on almost everything they've put out visually Stateside and even on a few UK releases. So, it is safe to say that I am personally intertwined with the band.

That being said, the website promoting the Japanese release of their EP is one of the most bizarre things I've ever seen. It goes 100% against their typical visual aesthetic, has nothing to do with the album art and is just plain weird. The video is even weirder.

I'm sure the band isn't loving the fact that their band name is now associated with that insanity but given that they had zero to do with its inception and execution I think they should just embrace it and chalk it up to Japan being a place that we simply can not comprehend.
