A Perfect Circle and Year Of The Rabbit are both set to release new singles soon. I have heard "Blue" or the "The Outsider" and "Last Defense" were the choices, respectively. Obviously I'm a bit partial here but it seems like "Pet" and "Absent Stars" (again, respectively) would be the better choices for appealing to a mass audience and garnering attention for their albums. Are singles for bands like these even important or just a gigantic gamble / waste of money? Where would they even have their videos played? Certainly not MTV... maybe somewhere in Canada.
