So, I'm staying in San Francisco for the next few weeks just for a basic change of pace. With that in mind, I was told about this social topography map set that takes different crime data and maps it onto the city. Prostitution doesn't run rampant throughout the city but it certainly peaks in two areas.. the same goes for Narcotics. It's a really great way to get an overall view of the neighborhoods and certainly something I'd love to see done with more cities - possibly a good implementation for Open San Diego to undertake?
