Really enjoyed this Bandcamp piece on The Cottage Industry of Indie Game Soundtracks, wherein they speak with a number of different videogame composers - Jim Guthrie, Disasterpiece, Chipzel, et. al. - and get their perspective on creating music for games and the, often, surprise success that comes with it.

It's interesting to see Makeup and Vanity Set dive into that world with Brigador because it's both an odd pairing and a completely sensible one. On the one hand I'd say his music is best paired with films but a videogame is often a film in its own way - there's a narrative, there's a tone and there's a protaganist making his way through a hardship. Now I'm just curious to see how well it works in a VR environment... I bet I'd be scared to death.
