Light Painting is not a new phenomena by any means - we've all done it with sparklers or, if we're lucky, an experimental long exposure. However, the light paintings of Janne Parviainen seem to take it to a whole new level. Images like this are, reportedly, all done in camera with no post editing.. incredibly hard to believe but entirely possible.
