Nashville's Zeitgeist gallery is currently showing an exhibition from artist John Donovan entitled This Ridiculous Fight that portrays a number of bizarre cast of characters influenced by "Pre-Columbian clay warriors, Japanese Haniwa horses, colossal Olmec heads and primitive weapons." There's a nice mix of sculpted pieces and detailed drawings, all depicting these odd warriors branded by Hello Kitty logos brandishing various tools of destruction. Long story short, it's well worth a visitation if you're in the area. If not, enjoy the goods online.
