kind of streaming.. kind of not

Slatch linked to Radio.Blog - an application that allows you to "stream" mp3's via Flash application. First of all, it seems notoriously close to the mixtape player that Arlo wrote for Buzzard. Secondly, it's not really streaming if you have to convert the mp3's and upload them to your server. I'm not bashing it as a very nice application, but I'm not sure "streaming" is the proper word.. someone just needs to tie Shoutcast into an application like that, now that would be something.
