I would be remiss in my "All Things Failure" interest if I didn't mention that Ken Andrews has released one new song from his latest project, The Los Angeles Digital Noise Academy. The name of the project is absolutely terrible but the song isn't so bad - probably because it's a giant collaboration of songwriters that I respect. The first song they've released features Jordon Z from Blinker, Ken Andrews, Sharky from Creepy Lagoon, and Brad Laner (Medicine and all sorts of production). Basically it's a Postal Service type project taken even further with artists dumping song ideas into a folder and inspiring fellow musicians to come up with other parts to the songs. It will be interesting to see what they come up - though I hope that it isn't always Ken writing lyrics and singing, his track record is sort of hit or miss on that front.
