Maybe it's the season but I've been receiving a load of music recommendations lately that have been hitting the spot perfectly. For example, Lands and People recently released their album Pop Guilt via Analog Edition and I'm already hooked from just a few days listens. It's the kind of atmospheric, textural, artsy indie rock that can very easily fall off into a pretentious or overwrought zone if done incorrectly. Fortunately, Lands and People never breach that line and keep the album lush, engaging and highly relistenable.
