I recently became aware of the
Max Headroom Broadcast Signal Intrusion incident in which a man dressed as Max Headroom took over the airwaves of two different stations; WGN-TV and WTTW. While both were fleeting intrusions, the later incident included plenty of bizarre audio that the first did not. You can watch the
entire takeover (with subtitles) but good luck unraveling the mystery, as no one has been caught for it or claimed it as their own.
