MomentUs is "a collaborative project in which a select group of designers, illustrators, and artists create visual interpretations of the most defining moments in United States history." It kicks off with Jon Contino's take on The Revolutionary War. While I'm not entirely enamored with this first entry (though I do love Jon Contino's work) I think the concept behind the site is strong. The full list of contributors shows that a lot of goods are coming down the pipe. I mean, Mark Weaver doing "The Moon Landing" ?? Sign me up.
