MTV top Videos

MTV has announced their list of top videos from 2003. Obviously there are a few in there that make perfect sense - Outkast, Queens of the Stone Age, Johnny Cash - but why is Fountains of Wayne getting any credit for anything related to that "Stacy's Mom" song? It's trite and oh so not clever. Anyway, the point here is that The Postal Service have a video, it's reminscent of Bjork's "All Is Full Of Love" (though not as good) video, and MTV put it in their top videos list. Is it proper to put something in your Best Of list that you've never bothered to show on your station?
