Today's the day! The debut release from
New Man, aka Cody Newman, is now available everywhere. As with his previous projects, New Man is
smart pop. The best part about this record is how densely layered it is. There's so many flourishes of various sounds, horns, keyboards, layered vocals and plenty more aural treats that reveal themselves with multiple listens.
You can
stream it everywhere or
pick up the vinyl. I'm, obviously, biased but I think the vinyl is an absolutely gorgeous piece of work with artwork and patterns from Elizabeth Williams of
New Hat.
