Post summer is apparently a good time for DVDs. I can only assume it's due to the overage of cash college students have from student loans. In August we get more Futurama, and more Mr. Show DVD's. In September there's the Run Ronnie Run DVD and now, according to
fugitiveAlien, there will be a Tenacious D DVD released entitled
The Complete Masterworks: The Greatest DVD Ever Sold. Lots of live footage, their videos, behind the scenes goods, and the HBO episodes that kicked it all off.

Rad pixel font collection over at
Xpaider, as well as a cool t-shirt for sale and a not so shabby link of the month.

After looking through the
Basefield gallery yet again.. I'm still convinced that
this is the best one and I want it on my wall - so I'd better not be let down (though
this is pretty sweet too).

Check the
The Lo Fi Mixtape Network for more online mixtapes (think
blather mixtapes but you can download). I don't suspect this will last long but it's definetly something worth listening to while it's here.

New
Self site. Bound to be something wrong, but it seems to be working well for me.

Hope everyone has a happy Independence Day. Not that anyone will actually appreciate the day for the reason it's a national holiday, but that's neither here nor there - fireworks, grill outs, and social times commence!
Since I won't be browsing too much.. I offer
these recent photos as an offering of entertainment. And you can browse the rest of the crap in that directory, but if you've ever viewed
intentional - you've seen it all (for better or worse.. your call).
I also offer the photos that I offered to
Bryan for his "book"
Image Idiots that I have a feeling will never happen (no offense). You can view those 3 little ditties
here - I still like #2 a whole lot.
And for all the geeks out there who could care less about my amatuer photography - go get your read on
here (and bookmark it). The revision to the Actionscript Dictionary... very handy.
Oh, and don't forget to get your dose of
NOW Music - Volume 13!
Enjoy the weekend!

Anyone know if you can force an HTML link color in a Flash dynamic textbox? I realize that an HTML enabled box will allow for the font color tag, but it'd be rad if you could just set a var, or add something into the object tag possibly.
Mike, I know you struggled with this and the modifying of components - any conclusions? Anyone?

Gotta love the
command line. For some reason I really enjoy doing random commands like "pathping" ...

I had some sub-woofers in my car in high school but I'd say that
this is complete overkill and way beyond the line of "stupidity."

Interesting that Movie Poop Shoot is running
this article about Jason Mewes being sued for being tight-lipped about his heroin addiction. Apparently there was a documentary being made about his habit and now he doesn't want to do (understandably so). Kind of ridiculous situation actually.

So rad that this exists. Thanks

I'm always skeptical of "news polls" because they sample such a small number of people (1,051 in this case - with a 3.5% margin of error) but they always hold some sliver of insight into the publics mindset. Unfortunately, in
this case I have to agree with
Nick in that I don't think anything will come of it. Have a President that lies about sex in the White House and you'll get impeachment, have a President that lies about a country having WMD's so he can start a war, and you get compliance.

It's temporary, and it's a taste that more things are to come - but the quick
sibhod splash is so amazingly 80's metal it makes my day. Gimme a desktop of that!
