Daniel just handed me a copy of
Soak Wash Rinse Spin and I am quite appreciative. Loads of variety of styles in here and all of them are inspiring. Thanks!

Following in
Arlo's footsteps -
here are a handful of photo's from the past few days of
KNI Nashville with KNI San Francisco. Arlo's got a ton more (including some of the absolute worst/
goofy photos of myself).

Some definite Flash radness over at
Hypen Health. Really fluid movement, smart navigation idea, nice color scheme, and an overall nice presentation of information. The only downside is the rather annoying music loop - definetly could do without that, or at least some options. Love the transitions of images in the Bio's section of Who We Are.. simple, attention to detail, but really effective.

More
Nino goodness in the form of links. Check out the
Adidas Originals page.. so many different styles incorporated. Nino suggests the "NY Zip Hood" and it's grafitti spraypaint style navigation... urban underground art is all the rage.

So you OS X users may have had
iCommune as a filesharing plugin for iTunes... well since it's demise it's been
reinvisioned. Basically this guy Jim Speth is making a file-sharing application that only lets you swap files with people you have put onto your "friends list." He's arguing that it's fair use to let someone essentially burn a copy of a CD you own.. I'm not thinking that argument will hold too much water. Also, I expect a nice comment from Dolan on this one.

The Dave Kinsey / 4Skin collaboration
Subjects of Mass Unconcern looks pretty cool but I'm not all that interested in the poster / sticker / t-shirt - just the book... it all looks great, but that's what interests me.

Apparently they are still trying to cast for a series of Superman movies and one of the
top choices seems to be
Josh Hartnett. I would only approve of such of a decision if the Clark Kent version of Superman looked and acted like
Trip Fontaine. Next worst choice?
Brendan Fraser.

Ahh political cartoons - sometimes scathingly amusing, sometimes beyond trite. Check
these out and their take on the 2003 State Of The Union address (
this one is probably my favorite).

Check the variety of well executed styles over at
Nocturnal Show Prints. Nice to see some goods coming out of Tennessee.. just wish the previews weren't so small.

Okay,
here is a possible sneak at the upcoming plot to Jurassic Park IV. Which, everyone knows, should never be made. But it says that this one takes place 12 years after the first movie and that the dinosaurs are urban legends now... 12 years = not enough time to become an urban legend. AND why is it that noone would remember (or have documented evidence) of the time when that Tyrannosaurus Rex ran through the city and busted up buildings? This has got "weak" written all over it.

More links from other people that you need to see. These are from my friend
Mike - first is this
Robert Zemekis script and film idea focused around filming actors in an all-digital environment against blue screens and adding everything in post-filming. Sounds interesting to say the least. The other link is a very early look at the next
version of Windows being referred to at this point as Longhorn. I gave XP the thumbs down for awhile and this new one looks even bubblier and crazy.. plus Microsoft's intention of securing all data on a drive doesn't really entice me.

I enjoy the site for
Crash Shop. Not a whole lot of obvious bells and whistles but it's got the goods. Nice selection of backgrounds, really nice functionality on the sections, and a little bit of goofy fun from the employees.
