New version of the
Lomography site is up - pretty cool. Though it has some weird horizontal scrollbar issues for me, overall it's pretty nice. Which reminds me I need to go pick up my camera waiting for me at
UPS Why are they only open from 2pm - 6pm? Isn't that inconvienent for.. umm.. everyone?

Excellent new works from
Pixelgrazer over at the
Bebo Norman site. Who's Bebo Norman? I have no clue, but the site has a nice organized dirty feel to it. The handwriting used on the contact is really nice (I know it's a font.. it's still nice).

While not as ambigious as the trailers at the
official site, the full-length trailer for
Punch-Drunk Love looks really good. I agree with
Duncan that PT Anderson may have given Adam Sandler his first real role ("Airheads" doesn't count). I look forward to Oct 11th.

Stolen gracefully from
Robbie, check out this
Chuck Palahniuk audio interview. A little background noise but it's cool to hear the author that's written some of my favorite books.

New design at
One 2 One. And check out
777 Run Photos for some graphic design journal madness. I love the pages done in a daily planner, that'd be a hell of a way to remember a specific day.

Web designers pay attention and go download
WebSpeed Optimizer. It's not one of those ridiculous "speed up your high speed connection!" type programs, it's a dial-up simulator so you can see what 56k users will see. SO convienent. Yea it's $100 but there is a 30-day trial so if you want to test it out, you can.

Download the song from
forget cassettes. Yea it's a demo.. quit whining. They are good, you should hear them, you will thank me later.

Reworked the top navigation system a bit so I could throw in whatever.. I was bored with the illustrations and I assume you were too. Right now that's Kurt and Arlo (of
KNI) working away..

Does anyone have
this compilation? I am about to buy it for ONE song (and the prospect of being introduced to something else good) and would hate to do so if some kind person out there would just rip that Quasi song for me....

Good news -
Autolux signed to The Cohen Brothers record label, DMZ Records (distributed by Columbia) and
carla's new elbow is in working order to record the new album in October. Wonder if they'll have a simultaneous release with
Year Of The Rabbit.. that'd be entertaining.

Whattup with the lack of updates at yewknee? Hrm... maybe the fact that I've been at work since 10 AM
yesterday and I'm still here hashing stuff out. The deadline has already been surpassed and trying to create quality work on no sleep is... difficult.. to say the least. So quit yer whining, go visit
Ryn and the absolutely entrancing
cup stacker.

When recording RGB values for a multi-dimensional array, it's best to have tools like
this instead of going back and forth into Photoshop. Folks.. appreciate freeware, I mean really.. c'mon. It's 4:30 in the AM and that's all I'm saying.. appreciate freeware.

I'm not a fan of
Eve but that website is pretty rockin. Not as a diss to the designers, but the transitions feel a bit
Lenny-esque but I think it stands on it's own really well. Alot of the inner content sections are super nice. Props to
Human Brand for their work.

The new video for "Do you Realize" can be viewed
here and it's cool. Basically the same idea as the original video, but just taken to some ridiculous blown out level.

Yet again the internet comes through with "everything." I wanted to see the video for Lusk's "Backworlds" and after much browsing I checked the obvious
launch.com and see that they in fact
have it. Schweet.

Some new
Obey Giant t-shirts are available. I'm into the "Obey Rock Series - Ramones" shirt except for that big chunky "OBEY" above the seal. Oh well, can't have everything.

I'm home. I'll bring back the navigation (and hopefully some goodies) sometime tomorrow night after
work. It will be nice to be back with
KNI Nashville co-workers (though KNI SF was completely rad). Must sleep.. 9 hours in airports and airplanes is exhausting.
