just wanna sincerely thank everyone for their support. we’ve been a label for 10 years and only really got “noticed” 1-2 years ago. been a long journey of trial and (mostly) error, but I’m so grateful for everyone who’s shown support and love to us and our bands ?

@yewknee just call yourself a "management consultant" and point out the problems, recommended unwieldy "reso-solutions" or some other BS portmanteau, create a report that cites only positive but meaningless improved metrics, and charge absurd amounts that prove your value-add

I love a good behind-the-scenes piece and this Vulture interview with the writers of SNL regarding
Season 44's sketch highlights is a fine example of why. Regardless of your personal enjoyment of SNL, it's impressive to hear about the process of writing these things and, occasionally, the Herculean efforts undertaken to actually pull them off.

Ashley and I pieced together various press pieces to find when Gaines became officially known (Nov 1998 for anyone counting) and all of the events that transpired through the end of the year, when we all pretty much ceased to hear about him anymore.

There's a photo effect that occurs as you scroll down the website of
firstborn that is amazingly subtle and incredibly difficult to capture with a simple screengrab. The photos melt into the page like a distorted copy machine bleeding the RGB values together... into a black and white image. I don't know what you'd
call it but I'm enamored by it and have scrolled the site ten times to watch it over and over again.
