Happy to announce the official video for the New Man track "Maybe I'm Feeling Fine". Does the video look familiar? I sure hope so because it's been lent a very helpful hand by Phil Collins and the boys of Genesis. It's a silly thing but the edit works so well with the song, it just felt right to pair it with the album announcement.
The debut release, New Man Sings, won't be available until September* but you can go ahead and pre-order the album now and see the band play all these songs live at The 5 Spot in Nashville, TN this Friday, June 22nd.
Expect plenty more from New Man over the coming months.
* vinyl takes a long time to make! September will be here before you know it
This Friday, June 22nd, Dave Paulson will release Sandusky, Ohio; a concept album written about the 1995 Chris Farley vehicle "Tommy Boy." I know that sounds like a joke but I assure you, it's not.
The above teaser trailer gives you a little taste of what to expect but it's a pop album written completely earnestly. On Friday, the album will be streaming everywhere and you can judge for yourself but I'm going to go ahead and suggest you save it on Spotify or just buy it direct right now.

goooooood morning internet/music twitter. My @BreakThruRadio podcast this week is heavy on the music, light on the talking. Perfect for a little weekend listening. https://t.co/8VVN85wx1v
Total honesty policy, there's no video I could show you this week that would top this thing. That's really all you need.
Here's some more, just for good measure.
Between Two Ferns: Seinfeld + Cardi B - it's another awkward interview. Nothing particularly new here but still fun to hear what Galifianakis has to say.
True Facts: Pangolins Posse - how zefrank turned this into a 7 and a half minute mini-doc is beyond me. Pretty great. Stay with it.
TANK - a short film dedicated to the style and tropes of early 80's arcade games built with that vector style. No 3D modeling here, it's all After Effects and manual animation.
Vegan Lawn Mower - because the Internet is weird and sometimes you need to be reminded of that.
Cat Explorer - adorable and disturbing. Your favorite new "game."
Maybe watch Natalie Portman eat some ever increasing hot sauces. There's probably a fetish in there somewhere but it's also just proper entertainment. She really goes for it about 15 minutes in.
Over the last few weeks I've seen mentions from various friends of mine regarding the launch of Network 77. There was no specificity as to what it was but lots of friends seemed excited for it.
Fortunately, the wait and mystery is over. Network 77 launched on June 13th and it's a a helluva well done sketch comedy show. It's 40 minutes of 70's style logo animations, deliberately awkward segment introductions and legitimately funny sketches. Many of the sketches are music based content - the Scourge of New Wave, the disappearance of a fake Country Star, a German pop show countdown, etc etc.
I can't imagine the amount of work that went into making something this pro looking. Hopefully this isn't the last of it.
I forced a bot to watch over 1,000 hours of Olive Garden commercials and then asked it to write an Olive Garden commercial of its own. Here is the first page. https://t.co/CKiDQTmLeH
