Chase Roselli

Los Angeles artist Chase Roselli creates some mind-boggling line illustrations. I assume these are prints of some sort that are procured from etchings but it's possible that they're hand drawn - though it's hard to conceive of such a process. Whatever undertaking is involved to create them, the end result is beautiful. I particularly love these recent pieces involving a bit more color into the mix.

I've long admired the illustration style of Wijtze Valkema, so it's rather exciting to see him offering vector brush packs - starting with The Rough Pack, a collection of textured lines and edges. It does cost a few bucks (€8) but I imagine the return on investment will be immeasurable. Okay, maybe that's a tiny stretch but I love that this is out in the world and I look forward to finding a place to use them.
