No matter what, we have to organize & stand up to Trump and fight for the marginalized. I am not afraid of that motherfucker

The story is not Comey, or Johnson, or Stein. The story is that white conservatives did not reject this man, no matter what he did.

What if Nate Silver is just chilling right now? He's got 1M graphing calculators hooked up to chimps and eating at TGIFridays or something.

Today's the day. Get out there and
vote. I'm not going to act as if my interest in you doing so is non-partisan. I want you to vote for
Hillary Clinton.
Once you're done with that duty, enjoy
this. We all earned it after the past few months.

Finally found the time to compile, archive and distribute the latest edition of the
We Own This Town podcast. This
78th Volume is an eclectic mix of hip-hop, indie rock, electronic and a dash of metal. This may not mean much to many folks outside of the region but putting together a mix of Nashville based bands and seeing just how varied it can be really makes me proud. "Country Music USA" was a maddening label when I was a kid and it's nice to see continuing evidence that it's so much more than that.

Just by happenstance, this volume turned out to be largely instrumental so please don't be hesitant to dive right in.

Alabama's
Museum of Wonder is a lot of things - it's a taxidermy and found object museum, it's an auction house (call the Possum Trot, natch) and it's the home of artist Butch Anthony. He can "weld steel, mix concrete, paint, throw clay, bend wire , sew cloth, and hammer a nail" - all together he calls Intertwangleism. It's a lot to take in but I'm really enjoying these old portraits that he's drawn simple, stylized, skeletal structures into. This is but the tiniest tip of the iceberg but it's a great jumping off point.
