• Big Black Delta - Money Rain Down - let's start slow. If you've not seen the video for Side of the Road, start there. This is a more lighthearted continuation of that same setup.
• Introducing Shittens - a new wet wipe shaped like a mitten! Crass, bottom of the barrel humor that tests your patience but the concept is too ridiculous not to enjoy.
• Roomies - I can't believe the amount of Kyle videos I've never seen. Fortunately, they're completely timeless.
• Bob Odenkirk Yelling Montage - no one curses like Bob Odenkirk. No one.
• Gravity: A Falling Montage - it's a familiar movie trope but it's still powerful. via Kate.
• It's Not You, It's Me - an absurd, but never goofy, short film. Gets a bit gruesome but it's an entertaining watch. Good to see the JASH network offshoot into some more serious shortform goods.
• Best Vines of the World - these kind of compilations are total Link Bait but I fell for it and legitimately enjoyed quite a few of them.
• Music City Shake Down Full Episodes - Nashville has a public access dance show. It's ridiculous and they've started posting all the episodes online. Ridiculous thing to have playing in the background.

The Explorer's Library is the first game from TinyBop. As mentioned previously, the studio strives to create educational, immersive, fun games for kids. Having a look at the preview video, it certainly meets all those goals. Love the style and exploratory intent of the app. It might be for kids but I wanna play it! Just 0.99, amazing.

Scenes from The Wire is a fascinating mashup of technology and culture from Darius Kazemi:

This is a bot that once every hour grabs scenes from The Wire (S02E01 for now), slaps in subtitles, makes a gif, and uploads it.

Gawker seems to think that it's "a perfect parody of internet fandom but also, maybe, its ultimate expression." Whatever it is, I'm amazed at how well some of the GIFs come out - how is that automated?! It's impressive and I'd love to see what results from using a better episode.

I suggest browsing through every single selection in the portfolio of Andy Denzler. Ideally, start at the earliest work and push forward in time - the transition from almost entirely black and white to full color paintings is natural and worth appreciating. Overall, I can't tell if the paintings "glitch" attributions are from the material it's painted on or if it's done intentionally - or a combination of both. However it's achieved, it's great. It's hard, for me, to look at pieces like this or this and imagine how it was painted. Love it.

Take a pleasurable browse through the works of Lara Hawthorne. The pieces are simple but manage to tell a nice story. I'm loving the odd creatures and somewhat gruesome situations. HT SupersonicElectronic.

I don't think it's going out on a limb to say that the pitch video for this comedy zine Kickstarter, Pendulous Breasts Quarterly Presents: Madame Bainbridge's Compendium Of Primo Dong (Abridged) , is the most ridiculous I've seen. I mean, it's a compendium of funny from writers best known for their work at The Onion, Adult Swim, Community, Kroll Show, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and more so it's not really a surprise but it is a delight. They're ten days shy and about a thousand dollars short of their goal. I hope they make it but, if not, I'm oddly glad I saw that pitch video.

Loving these works of Australian illustrator Jake Lawrence over at his blog, Time Cowboy. There's an impressive variety of pixel art, original comics, videogame tributes and more. I suggest partaking in all the follows.

Loving this series of Flat Comic Heroes from Miguel Camilo. I've always known the man was talented (and has great taste) but this really seems like his best work yet. Looking forward to more.

I'm having mixed feelings about Honda's Project Drive-In. On the one hand, they're raising awareness to a very niche but interesting problem - Drive-In Movie Theaters need help upgrading to digital technology in order to stay open. On the other hand, they're apparently running the awareness through an IndieGoGo Campaign to raise additional funds?

On the whole, it's a rather snazzy website that allows you to Vote for a particular Drive-In and nominate them to potentially receive a digital projector from Honda. Five projectors actually seems a little paltry but at least the site looks nice and raising awareness for something of this ilk can't be bad thing. Watch the promo video now.

At first glance, this series of images from Francois Brunelle depicts twins - plain and simple. However, the actual truth of the matter is that the collection of images depict doppelgangers - individuals who look a lot like each other but aren't actually related at all. I'm not a look-alike is eerie a times. Granted, dressing two people up almost identically, styling them similarly and capturing all photos in black/white certainly helps to push the similarities but it's a good trick and a strange reminder of the gene pool we're dealing with out there.

Here's an enjoyable and quick documentary about The East Village's Most Eccentric Shopkeeper - The Birdman. Frankly, he's not really that eccentric but to get a glimpse inside of the St. Mark's music store os remarkable. How anyone finds anything is beyond comprehension but Birdman seems to know exactly what he's got.

Reinventing the email app can be a fairly lucrative business (Ask Sparrow or Mailbox). So, the fine folks at Birdseye are having a stab at it. Their intro video does a good job of introducing why they decided to take this more visual approach and just how smart Birdseye can, presumably, be. Overall, it looks pretty nice. Now I just need to start using a tablet to read my mail so I can form an actual opinion on it!
