Philip Seymour Hoffman

It feels a little ridiculous for me to write anything about the passing of Philip Seymour Hoffman. There are plenty of much more eloquent folks able to express how tragic it is for someone so talented to not be around anymore. His performances were honestly magnetic and enthralling and, sometimes, hilarious. Never phoned in.

I try not to chime in too often on tragedies like this because I really don't believe there is much for me to add to the noise. However, I would like for everyone to take a moment to partake in this morsel from Chuck Wendig:
The illusion is that success and talent eradicate depression and addiction. But the truth, I fear, is that it can magnify and multiply it.
His passing is senselessly tragic. That's it. Hopefully he can rest in peace.
