Asako Narahashi photo series half awake and half asleep in the water puts the artist floating chest deep in the water with a waterproof camera pointed towards the shore. The results are fascinating and sometimes scary.. something about the water overtaking the lens makes me feel a bit uneasy. Be sure to check the entire gallery. The fact that these images from Dustin Humphrey were intended for a skate/surf ad campaign makes them no less impressive. The fact that they all feel like perfectly executed double exposures above and below the surface of the water makes them that much more appealing. Some NWS bodies mixed in there if that's a concern for your workplace but I'd recommend trying it out anyway.. the images get better the farther down the page you go.
