pny express - email style

Anyone who reads Gizmodo will probably have already encountered this story about a new style of "Pony Express" that is bringing email to rural parts of Cambodia. While I'm not entirely clear on how it all works, I find it very interesting to see newer and older technologies (and older concepts - i.e. The Pony Express) coming together in such a beneficial way.
