I have
mentioned it before but
Makeup and Vanity Set offers a
subscription that gets you access to all kinds of Subscriber Only releases. At this time, there's seven full albums of music only heard by subscribers. Kind of bonkers.
He recently released
PRIS as part of the subscription and then, for reasons only MAVS knows, he released it for everyone to have access to.
So, if you were unconvinced of the quality of albums behind the subscription, let this be a shining example of the kind of great work he's putting out there. It's definitely a
different sound for him. It lives in the same world as his other dark, keyboard / beat driven escapades but there's a tone and vibe to it that feels more organic and lighter at times. Not as other worldly as
Trackless but certainly influenced by that a bit.
