Salinger Trailer

I've not read everything from JD Salinger but what I have read has always been enjoyable. I've never quite, personally, understood the fascination with "Catcher in the Rye" but the fact that it does have such a cultish following is fascinating in and of itself. So, with that in mind, this Salinger documentary is pretty engaging. It goes into his somewhat hermit-esque lifestyle and shunning the world once he gained popularity.

I agree with this article that the marketing for the film makes it seem a little extra thrillerish and celebrity filled but Salinger's story is an interesting one, regardless of how it's being pitched.
