Startup Advice

Since I'm working for my first startup I find myself reading a great deal of advice and insight from others. While it's definitely best to do what feels right for yourself, being educated on the trials and tribulations of others certainly can't hurt. Here's two quality reads:
- Six Lessons That Might Have Saved Our Business Had We Learned Them Earlier - sadly, the folks at Path.to are calling it a day. Here's their insight into why.
- Do Things That Don't Scale - some great insight from Paul Graham that sometimes the best way for a new business to operate is to really connect directly with clients - door to door style. You can't keep it up forever but it lays a nice base.
