Tech Heads Up

- Safari Extensions Tumblr - a Tumblog setup to keep track of emerging Safari extensions while the official gallery is still under construction. I am a little wary of extensions being a huge culprit in slowing down the browser or creating unnecessary bugs but we\'ll just have to wait and see!
- Twitter rolls out link shortner - it\'s not widely available yet but all outgoing Twitter links will be wrapped in t.co urls starting sometime this summer. I\'m not sure how this will work if you\'re somehow already auto-shortening your URL\'s - will there be double obfuscation? Again, have to wait and see I suppose.
- Adobe Flash security flaw - apparently this one potential affects any Mac, PC or Linux user running the Flash plugin. Adobe\'s solution is to have you upgrade to the \'release candidate\' of Flash 10.1. I\'m not saying this is that big of a deal but I am saying it\'s rather bad timing with the whole Apple vs Adobe feud.
