Many many years ago Chad introduced me to The Books and I\'ve been enamored ever since. It\'s been five years since the release of their last album Lost and Safe. While it sucks, as a fan, to wait so long between albums I\'m glad they took their time; as their music is not really something you can just cobble together in between tours. Long story short, the news is out that they have a new album coming out in July and I will patiently await its release. It also turns out that the band has a blog that I\'ve managed to never catch wind of until today.

So, if you\'re unfamiliar with the band, take the next few months to catch up with becoming familiar with their catalog.. you\'ll appreciate it.
