I complained about this to some friends of mine, but I'll bring it here to the web for everyone to chime in on. If you aren't familiar with TinyURL then all of this will mean nothing. Basically it's a free web service that takes a really long ugly amazon.com style deep link and makes it alot shorter and presentable for emails, etc. Some people believe that it's not such a wise idea to have one website storing all this information, as the likelihood of them being around for a long long time is probably pretty slim. The other problem is that the url's aren't descriptive in the least - it's just tinyurl.com/gibberish. In summation.. screw tinyurl. (Rant inspired by Mason)
