Tom Paine is in bed with Al Gore

Last night I saw Al Gore speak at MTSU on the topic of mass media's impact on communities. On of his most interesting, and emphatic, points was that today's media is threatening the idea of free speech that this country is so proud to have use of. Without asking questions or sparking debate, every bit of information just becomes handouts from the government. Fortunately, some places are asking questions. This article re-iterates the point that Gore made last night (just a co-incedence) and uses specific examples about how the govt/media are kind of pulling the wool over our eyes.
