Valentyn Odnoviun

I caught wind of Valentyn Odnoviun on WIRED the other day and have been taking a deep dive into his fascinating body of work.
His Surveillance collection is a fascinating collection of tiny images with a dark secret; they are actually images captured through tiny spyholes in KGB prisons in the Baltic States and Ukraine. While there's an undeniably beauty here, it's hard not to look at them with a heavy heart after learning their background.
The remainder of the portfolio is certainly worth taking a look at as well with The Process also dealing with prison life or Horizons playing with expectations (and format). Spend some time with all of it, it's not a massive repository so you can find some appreciation for it in no time.
