We Own This Town Relaunch

When I moved to New York one of my biggest concerns was the fate of We Own This Town - the Nashville music blog I curated for many many years. I didn't want to see it fall by the wayside but knew that in its current state - an archaic Wordpress powered site basically duct taped together - it would never make it. So, I converted the show calendar to a Songkick itinerary, am slowing moving the podcast archive over on to Mixcloud and have officially relaunched the blog portion with Tumblr now powering it.

This solves multiple problems. Namely, it allows for multiple authors to easily post new content. Granted, there aren't any other authors but at least there could be now. Secondly, it will allow for the automation of content much easier. There were Wordpress plugins for this but they worked terribly. IFTTT plays quite nicely with Tumblr.

Long story short, the site is relaunched and I'd ask you to please follow along. I think it's only going to get better.
