Having spent the last 20 years playing with various "WYSIWYG" editors - Dreamweaver, Squarespace, WIX, Wordpress Visual Editor, etc. etc. - I'm dubious whenever someone claims they've cracked the code to write responsive, immersive experiences with clean code. That's exactly what
Webflow is tackling and, frankly, it looks like they may have done it. Their
intro video is great and their
showcase is really solid. I'm sure there are caveats (there always are) but I'm quite intrigued.
