yewknee hiatus

You may have noticed that things have slowed down a bit at yewknee.com the past few days (maybe even weeks), and I suppose it's time I share the reason why. As sad as it is, I just don't have time for the site right now. Finding time to browse for interesting sites (or news, or whatever) is next to impossible when you're working a full-time job, finishing up some projects, and remodeling a house.

Yea, that's right.. I'm a fancy adult homeowner now. The opportunity presented itself to save myself alot of money by borrowing alot of money - so I took it. The house will be an incredible place to live once many months of hard work have been put into it, but that means I have to put in the many months of hard work. And seeing that this is the last week in October I gotta get out of my current apartment by the 31st (or possibly the 2nd.. depending on how I'm feeling).

I try not to share too many personal items here but it's probably only fair to let you know that it's going to be real slow here for the next few weeks while I get my act together and settle into the new place. Browse the house site to see the kind of work I'm having to put into it and maybe you'll understand (I'll still be updating daily at the Beard Contest.. somehow I force myself to find time for that).
