Year End Review 2010: Volume 3

December 10th, 2010

The final of three mixes to round out my review of the goods from the past year. This mix is comprised of the "obvious" choices - the acts that got plenty of coverage and, if you're paying even the slightest attention, you already know about. I also threw in songs from all the releases I put out this year because, obviously, I love all those tracks.

There are some omissions from this list that I honestly thought would make it to the final round - Broken Social Scene, Admiral Radley and The Books namely - but the albums just never properly stuck with me. There are great songs on those records but they didn't have the personal impact that I had hoped for. Expectations are a pain I suppose.
