These Queer Comedians Are Anything But A Punchline is, at its core, a profile on a handful of new comedians - all of which happen to be homosexual or transgender - and how their acceptance is a political statement in and of itself. A good read and hopefully one we'll see more of.

Okay, on to the distractions:

When VR gets too real - when you try virtual reality for the first time, don't drop a grenade. The very end sound bit is my favorite.
The Secret of Tortilla Chips - this is absolute perfection. It's a gag in a gag in a gag and he nails it.
Fake Neighborhoods on Google Maps - generally, these kind of semi-funny, semi-informative YouTube videos miss the mark and land on "too annoying to watch" but this one hit the mark for me. Amusing, insightful and possibly even worth pursuing more.
How NeoPets was sold to Scientologists - flat out interesting if you've got 16 minutes.
kittykay96 - don't question what you're seeing, just enjoy the ride. I did.
Don't Underestimate My Fastness - this is what the founders of the Internet had in mind when they created this wonderful ecosystem for us all.

After the passing of Richard Swift in Summer 2018, many of his musician friends came together to form the Fug Yep Soundation, a record label and charitable organization that will be releasing a number of exclusive 7"'s with proceeds going to Swift's family and/or MusiCares and Music Support UK.

From the looks of the site, you can expect releases from Dan Auerbach, David Bazan, Jessie Baylin, Fruit Bats, Gardens and Villa, James Mercer and a ton more. The first release from Lucius is already available, though it's a Christmas tune so you may not be quite ready to dive back into that world.

There's also a store with mugs, t-shirts, stickers and even Palo Santo smudge sticks if you're not interested in buying the 7".
