• Crazy Keytar Lady Shreds - the video alone is unbelievable from start to finish but the overdubbed terrible Shred style takes it to another level. Truth be told, the original is even better.
• It's a Bad Brains Christmas, Charlie Brown - this is expertly edited. Well done Internet.
• Man Loses His Mind to Decker Theme Song... for an Hour - seriously, this guy dances for an entire hour. His moves and his commentary are both equally on the level of Complete Insanity. Love this dude.
• A Man screams Mashed Potatoes at Different Golf Games - yep, super weird but the anticipation pays off.
• Flute Man - listen, I've been around the block. I know this can't be real. But I want to believe that it is. So I will.
• Hello - the simple things are often the most enjoyable.
• Paul Rudd - Hotline Bling - there's a version with narration and one without. I prefer the later but included the former because it's the only one on YouTube.
• Tame Impala - The Less I Know Better - definitely some NSFW imagery in here but appropriately weird for Tame Impala.
• Jacco Gardner - Find Yourself - not necessarily a Bonkers Friday Video but I am loving the music from this guy. All of it is enjoyable and this just happens to be a quality entry point.

• No UI is the New UI - voice control is the future, get ready for it.
• We Don't Sell Saddles Here - a memo from Tiny Speck (makers of Slack) regarding their company message and how they manage to spin their chat app into something that sounds innovative and fun.
• Lighting the Brain - "Karl Deisseroth and the optogenetics breakthrough." is a helluva secondary headline.
• Metadata Investigation: Inside Hacking Team - a long piece about really investigating the infamous metadata.

I just became aware of Kano, a computer and coding kit for kids ages 6 and up. It's a bunch of parts that can be put together to create a fully functioning computer and an operating system that lets them code and create projects. It's like legos but with actual computers. The sample material online makes it look like a rather compelling offer.

I would lament that I wish I had something like this when I was a kid but we did - Construx, Tandy's, Monster Lab, Legos, etc. etc. This is just the next generation of the same type of creative and analytical thinking.

Paul Jackson has a lot of fine art prints available for sale in his shop. I'm mostly enamored with this small print Panther that is glitched out in the most unexpected ways. Just wanted to make sure this was shared for all to enjoy.

Caught this on Twitter last night, a high-concept, incredibly well executed sci-fi short by the name of Uncanny Valley. There are echoes of Neil Blomkamp or even Toys in there but it stands on its own. Added bonus: incredibly well realized CG and top notch glitch effects. Worth your time to watch.
