The heat these days makes it so that all I can think of is the impending summer. As of this writing, it's not even officially "Summertime" yet but we're dealing with 94 degree heat. These songs make the day more enjoyable.
This mix should be considered Part 1 of the next mix, Summer Nights Volume 3 - a ying and yang style upbeat vs laid back if you will.
Also, I fully own up to the fact that two weeks ago I would have never considered putting a Sigur Ros track on a mix of mine but that track is too good to be denied.. even if they do make up their own absolutely ridiculous self-indulgent self-flaggelating language.
